Using
the Free FamilySearch.org web site
JGSGM will be offering a 4 week zoom
workshop on the usage of FamilySearch.org. Why use FamilySearch.org? Well, it is free. Also, it has as much, if
not more, to offer than Ancestry. There are over 16.3 billion
free historical records and images for more than 110 countries. In
addition, they have a digital library holding over
500,000 genealogy books, family histories, maps, yearbooks, and more. To learn more about genealogy resources for
different regions and countries, they have a research wiki that is extremely comprehensive.
So how to access all of these
features? In this limited seating workshop
available only to JGSGM members, we will introduce these features and how to
use them.
